i will not walk on egg shells!!!!!!! nor am i making "black face" a habit. The people who get upset with me because i painted my face black, and call me racist my heart goes out to you. I hope that one day we will see people and not colour, because thats what i see. Not a black man, white man, Asian or even blue i see people. We cannot change the past but we can help the future. I dont think it was so much what people have in their minds, but people in the U.S who are always, arm over arms about race and ethnic heritages etc. In other countries,you are just a person skin color comes 2nd if even at all. Do I think he was intentionally trying to be insulting towards black people as a whole ? No, but I do think that perhaps if he would have done any kind of research that doing Black face is unacceptable and a little bit racist.

Black Face depicts the stereotyped Negro/Black person. It was basically a lewd attempt at trying to depict the nigger of the plantations. The coon , the darkie etc. With its over dramatic costuming and black face , the only thing it stood for was to portray Black people
