  • The previous generation macbook pro only supports up to 4 GB of DDR2 SD ram! I don't get how you have 6gb of ram.

  • Cuz it really supports 6GB :-) Had 8GB in for a bit. But anytime an app addressed more than 2GB of RAM the system would come to a crawl.. Pulled back to 6GB and works great!

  • awesome man

  • you guys need led bulbs, there low wattage and the white light gives better color

  • Kudos to you guys; just for the geeky sake of running a 24h tv station, as you said

  • Whats your day job? Would love to see what you get up too x

  • What kind of Macki are you using?

  • Try putting a couple of Conkers in each corner of the garage, that should keep your spiders out ! , Sounds crazy but it works !

  • dear chris-your obvious enthusiasm is your best asset.your tech stuff looks just swell-but take it from one who knows:put the camera on the mount, step back until you're a nice belt to head shot in the viewfinder, cam at chin level, then STAND and TALK. sounds moronically simple, but it's like a suit at a meeting,it just works.I'd use a fabric greenscreen, make my own frame and stretch it like a canvas, tilting it and tinkering light angles and filters until the image was hard to tell.

  • move the lights closer and more to the side and put a ND gel on it or dim it down.

  • You can try defusing the current lights with a cut up cloth sheet (white), much like you would use gels.

That should cut down on the harshness of the lighting.

I have also used router control switch (light dimmer) to control the amount of light. I use 1,000 watt halogens in softboxs, so you can dim those.

  • only if we can see your hole face !!!
