@canibfamous Try them both, if you can. The way you sound is based upon your own ability and style, not really the instrument.

Excellent video. I always wondered if certain parts of the assembly are done by people who don't play the clarinet or have a background in music; I would say not all of it is necessarily high-skill labor. It does make me happy to see that it looks like there is a good quality control--Personally I would adore making clarinets as a living.
I generally prefer Selmer clarinets, however. Buffet makes excellent instruments also, but I think I get a more "magical" sound from my Selmer Recital.

This is the correct version of the Mozart Concerto played on the basset clarinet! LOVE IT!
