@aaannarose I used to think the way you do, until I went to college. Then I made up my mind to say "bless you," if only to be polite. I made it a habit -- and, you know what? Now I love to do it! I now think of it as a kind and gracious, caring thing to say. For me it's right up there with holding a door or taking a cell phone conversation outside -- a "mindful" habit. I tell you this, aaannarose, not to criticize, but to offer a different viewpoint from my own experience.
