Here's a piece I composed called "Knights of the Round Table" animated with the Music Animation Machine.

I wrote the piece a few years ago. I took out some of the instruments from the animation such as the percussion because they were bogging down the speed and making other lines harder to see, but the essential parts of the music remain.

Music Animation Machine: http://www.musanim.com/

Recorded with CamStudio from http://camstudio.org/

This piece was composed using Garritan Personal Orchestra: http://www.garritan.com/

More of my music can be found at: http://www.wizardwalk.com/mp3s.html

Hope you enjoy! :-)

  • i say, its a tiny bit too peaseful music for the knights of the round table

  • I can so imagine the knights of the round table!

  • @alethiophile I'm not sure... without a sequencer that is a direct VST host to play back GPO in realtime, it seems like orchestrating would be very problematic

  • @WizardWalk If you use Lilypond and TiMidiTy, both free, for notation and sequencing alongside the Garritan Personal Orchestra sound patches, I should imagine the final results would be just as good. Of course, the real bottleneck is musical talent.

  • Holy Crap! That was friggin amazing!!!!

  • few hundred well spent if you ask me :)

  • @JackRabbit894 Thanks! :-) Yeah, along with notation software it requires an investment of a few hundred dollars. It does take some time to learn and get a feel for.

  • @WizardWalk Oh... I was hoping it was free, lol. I was thinking about trying it out. I highly doubt I'd be as good as you, though. I've listened to 3 of your pieces and they're all amazing. :D

  • @JackRabbit894 It's not free, but definitely worth its price. It's not really a program, it's collection of instrument sounds. You would still need a sequencer or notation program to use it with. I use Overture 4.

  • @WizardWalk Is the Garritan Personal Orchestra program free and easy to use?
