I have been playing castlevania since the very first one in the mid 1980's and I have to tall ya,I'm really impressed about the new Castlevania's concept! Things has changed a whole lot since the 80's about the way video games are today. I am a Castlevania fan for life and lets give lords of shadow a chance to prove itself to gamers that doubt the integrity of Castlevania! I"ve waited a very long time for castlvania to come out since the last one. So Fuck You GOW freaks who claims los copied U!!

seeing the gameplay, I think konami was inspired by tomb raider, prince of persia, and all the adventure/rpg in real time that were done til today. They've done a good work. The graphics are impressive and the art is very detailed and well conceived. it remains only to prove it with the gamepad in my own hands!! I hope it will be a great experience!! I 've been liked Castlevania very much since the 2D versions. (excuse me for my lacking english writing, I'm not english/american)

I coundt agree more with you but man i does seems like all of GOW animations the gripping, the walking on ledges, the climbing, the pressing a button when you fall, the swinging with the whip, it really seems like it. Not complaining though, i've been wainting for a castlevania like this. Only time will tell.

@DarkheartedMK yea its funny how simple the problem was. when you use the right trigger to grab onto the knob just let go of the right trigger before you turn it. just make sure he is holding onto it before you let go of the right trigger, the start turning it like normal. Hope that helps, and let me know how it went.

why did he have to do all that? there should be a stairway from the beggining to where he wanted to go... this is just craziness jumping around things and gears to get to another side... how did they even construct the other side? the construction workers had to jump through all the gears and shit too?
