Minecraft - Diamonds in Under 3 Minutes

Speed run with the objective of finding and mining a single diamond in as least amount of time as possible. Time starts when I gain control of the player and ends when a diamond block is broke. No cheats were used and the only mod used is Optifine which doesn't benefit me at all. I had brightness up to the max and smooth lighting turned off to maximize vision in the dark, eliminating the need for torches. The world is completely randomly generated. I also toggle F3 to check what level I am on. This speed run is inspired by AntVenom.

First off that was over 3 minutes, second a rule of Minecraft is: Never dig directly down! You'll just fall into lava. You were lucky you didn't and 3: I gave the video a like because I enjoyed it :)

@ccarlyon97 Well, it's a speed run, so if I were to follow the rules and safety precautions, this run would be 5 times longer. And I've measured the time several times before uploading this video, and once more just now, and it is below 3 minutes. Remember, time starts when I gain control of the player and ends when I mine the first diamond. The part of me going to the surface is just something I threw in.
