I have yet to see mortises, as perfect, and as easy as the ones you'll be making with this jig. You can see how to make this jig at http://www.provenwoodworking.com/mortise-jig.html.

  • It's TENON, not Tennion.

You are a mortease and tennion genius.

  • Hi EagleLakeWoodworking,

    Thanks for your comments.

I know that I am not a good linguist.

I try to let the jig do the talking. This Mortise Jig is about 10 years old. It continues to make precise mortises whether it is one, two, four, or eight.

Along with the Tenon Jig of the same age, these jigs give superior results every time. When building a project such as a desk, all the joints are precisely parallel, which is what one wants.

Good luck in all that you do!

    Best, Jim
