This is a 9 part series. Part 1 starts off at the Novaculite Mine in Arkansas and shows how the stone is mined. This is followed by heat treating the stone and working it into a Laurel Leaf point using wood and anter billets as well as punches.

  • I have a Translucent Arkansas oilstone, about 4000 grit. It just puts a razor edge on my knives.
