@brightphoebus I think it's a combination of both--it's in a room with no carpet, but it also has the largest horn of any Victor machine. That is Fran Frey--and you're right about the old tunes from the 20's! Thanks!
Great stuff. Neet to see the phonograph in action! ANd that hiss of the needle dragging. Doesn't he have a wonderful voice! That's Fran Frey right? And there's a nice reverb, is that coming from the wooden box shape of the phonograph, is there a bell, or is it the room? I sure dig the groovy old tunes of the 20's.
