Solar Porch shines

Ruleville-based blues band Solar Porch performs at Club Ebony during the Mississippi Delta Regional Blues Challenge. Solar Porch won first prize in the challenge's Band Division and earned an invitation to compete in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tenn.

The 308 Blues Club salutes Sid Barger and Sir Marlow Dorrough of Solar Porch for their victory in the Solo/Duo Category at the 2010 Mississippi Delta Regional Blues Challenge, held this past week in Indianola. They will perform this upcoming Saturday, November 6th at the 308. Come out and celebrate with Solar Porch!
