This is Bella SeeKoo on her first day of at home parvo treatment. This poor girl has had a ruff life and she is only 13 weeks old. Born to a byb, she is a deaf all white Great Dane. She was dumped at the shelter at 5 weeks, with an inguinal hernia and picked on from the other dogs at the shelter.
She arrived at rescue at 9 weeks, where we took her to the vet for her hernia surgery and also to have the infection from the bite wounds drained.
One week later she had to return to have another surgery to have a drain implanted to help the infection that didnt respond to the antibiotics.
4 days after the surgery, she was diagnosed with Parvo, (which we think she got from the vet's). Now she is having the battle of her life, but as you can see....she's gonnna be a fighter.
Help her fight, with a donation to help cover her medical bills..... visit our chipin page:

Did you take him to the vet? You need to give him sub Q fluids too. Dehydration is a major problem with parvo. You must keep him well hydrated and give him the anti-nausea anti diarrheal medication. Parvo is a virus and once a dog has it there is nothing you can do to cure it. the medical plan is to support the animal with enough meds to help him survive while the virus runs it course. You also must clean with bleach everything your baby uses everyday. Bella is a large bouncy 6mo Dane now!
