Squatter Community Living Under A Bridge In Metro Manila Philippines

I am whitedragonawa.

This is a squatter community that lives under a bridge that is over the Pasig River in Metro Manila. Unfortunately the original video file of this was accidently lost so only an mp4 is available so the quality as not as good as it could have been.
I went with a California FilAm church and did some charity work for these people as well as other things while on a missions trip. This is the reality of many of the poor people in the Philippines in urban areas. It is very sad. Would you like to live in such a place? There are many factors as to why people are poor so withhold your judgment and arrogance. People are suffering and need help and some love. Jesus loves these people and would not tell them to leave "government land." Squatter communities are a common problem in the Philippines and many people are lucky not to be stuck in one.

@millionkronerbabe Well it as a one time thing with a Fil American church I was with. We were Christians doing short term missionary work. If you want to join you should become a Christian and go to a christian church then find one that goes to the philippines. I dont go to this church anymore though.

@TheRivalConcept ya I dont donate to mission agencies either because i think most of the people who work for them are dorks more often than not and also spread liberal communist ideas. Its best just to send it yourself directly.

@MaharlikaAWA I think what people be doing is trying to get the government to be more responisble and less courupt. I'd rather be like you (if given a chance) and actually go and help people like that, at least I know where mine and other ppls money are going, that is why i dont donate to World Vision etc...
