Boundaries
For Wind Orchestra
Composed by Robin Langdon
Performed by Southampton University Wind Orchestra
Conducted by Adam Swayne

This piece tries to bridge the gap between contemporary music and more traditional approaches. Throughout the piece the band travels through every major and minor key in a pattern that builds from non-obvious modulations towards standard ones and then leaps again by modulating to an unexpected key again.
The time signature varies throughout but the main theme goes 7/8 4/4 7/8 5/8 repeated. (but as I said it varies a lot and some sections are just in a straight 4)
Feel free to message me for further details/discussion about the piece if you are interested.
