Dois artistas fundamentais na música popular brasileira completam centenário de nascimento em 2010: Adoniran Barbosa (João Rubinato) e Noel Rosa. Tal coincidência, por si, bastaria para reunir em um só espetáculo os eternos temas destes inspirados compositores. Contudo, há muitos outros entrelaçamentos: ambos são oriundos do carnaval e protagonistas na ascensão do samba ao patamar de gênero predominante. Foram astros do rádio, boêmios incuráveis, irônicos, humorados e, igualmente, melancólicos. Em Filosofia -- canções de Adoniran e Noel, Dudu Sperb (voz), Maurício Marques (violão de 8 cordas) e o cronista Rubem Penz (percussão) se encarregam de cantar, contar e encantar com os ricos detalhes dessa história.
