After the viewing of "Stonewall Uprising" at Midtown Art Cinema on June 26, 2010, representatives from the gay bar the Atlanta Eagle answered questions from the audience as part of Stonewall Week and Out on Film, the city's annual LGBT film fest. Patrons and employees who were part of the police raid on the Atlanta Eagle Sept. 10, 2009, are currently suing the city and the numerous members of the Atlanta Police Department in federal court. The Atlanta Eagle representatives compared some of the similarities of what happened at the Eagle in 2009 to what happened at the Stonewall Inn in 1969. Representing the Atlanta Eagle were Dan Grossman, attorney; Eagle co-owner Robby Kelley; bartender Chris Lopez; and Greg Nevins of Lambda Legal.
