Rush-"Retard Summit"

Rush Limbaugh calls the meeting between Rahm Emanuel and Special Olympics members "Retard Summit". On Wednesday Rahm Emanuel met with Special Olympic organizer and members with special needs, to apologize for his use of the word "Retard" to describe a group Mr. Emanuel was upset about.

Rush was being satirical and sarcastic in his use of the word in order to show the leaders of this nation how hurtfull this word can be even if it is true.

Rahm emmanuel on the otherhand used the word with the Intention to demean others.

No need for Rush to apologise for teaching the so called elite in our administration that they are not always as smart as they think they are.

@mrcarter2007 Whether a liberal or conservative uses the n word, people who care about racism would hold both equally responsible and demand the same apology from both. If Bush and Clinton were to use the word, Jesse Jackson wouldn't criticize Bush and then praise Clinton for being "satirical and sarcastic". Hence if Sarah Palin ACTUALLY cared about the special needs she would have held both to the same level instead of demanding a resignation from 1 and praising the other.

@mrcarter2007 How was his use of the word retard ANY different than Rahm's use of the word? Rahm Emanuel wasn't refering to actual people with special needs, he was using the word in a so called "satirical and sarcastic" way JUST LIKE RUSH. Why should Rahm be asked to resign by Palin, yet Rush be praised when both used the exact same word in the exact same context? If Sarah Palin actually cared about the special needs she would have held Rush equally responsible.

I find it fun to note that even on a bad day, he gets more listeners than all of the combined viewers of CNN, MSNBC or your favorite "fair and balanced" liberal News Network.
