(Played on Way of the Master Radio 11.5.07 Hour 1.)

The other video I posted on this profile was off on framerate and I didn't notice it until I posted it so here is another copy of it with a tighter framerate/audiorate. I decided to leave the other one up since several websites have already linked to it.

Again, someone please forward this to Rick and Joel.

  • Please explain how the definition of "cushy" is the same definition as "having enough"? Do you reckon that they should have been outside under a tree... while you sit in a chair... on your computer... with internet... typing this? First, if you do hold to this and want to talk about hypocrisy perhaps removing the log would help before addressing others, and second, please explain how Paul preaching against altering the message of the Gospel which you call "cushy" is the same as having enough.

  • Do you hold that it's not Christian to preach a message of condemnation?

  • If Joel Osteen does not preach the true gospel, then he is no brother. He is a deceiver. A wolf dressed up to look christian. Be careful.

  • You are right, but you are confusing "religion" with true Christianity. They are not the same thing. The vast majority of "religious" people are not truly Christians at all.

  • @HarmonyinJesus ::: What is it that makes you think he is a deceiver?

  • On a ten minute time frame I was allowed to speak up front at my church and I pretty much spoke the same words. They were mainly about caring and saving the lost from hell and having compasition on those who are perishing and you know what happened when I finished my ten minutes? They called me "naive" and that I should open my "mind" to other "topics". Thanks Teacher...I'm sure that's exactly what Jesus would have told me...?

  • @MegaPW1 Yes that is So true...When you have the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God living inside you, you would understand..but alot of people don't and they rejects the True Mesage that is from God. I'd remember listening to One of Joel Osteen's Preaching on Youtube..It just got me so Confused! And when I was looking for that one Word about People like Joel O. And the Holy Spirit said. "Those who Pleasing themselves, and not Pleasing the Father or Son"

  • Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible did not only teach the sweet, he preached the sour too... Jesus Christ was and is not all prosperity, he preached about hell too. A LOT of preachers teach PROSPERIITY ALONE,know dear ones, there is Something Wrong. If a preacher is Not going to preach the whole council of God the Sweet and The Sour(Good and Bad) they are Not Preaching The W ord of God.

  • I agree with what Paul Washer said in this video. Its all about Sharing Christ and His Amazing Love, its All about doing what we can to get people saved, its all about Walking the Path of God daily as musch as possible,Its about Living the Christians Life and doing so in Truth, keeping the faith, its all about Christ.

  • @ jakesandersonaudio - The Jesus of the Bible also said: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean. Matthew 23:27 - Christians, like Jesus, can get angry, and sin not, and you fail to realize Paul is right about preaching in the prophetic or you are nothing.

  • Paul Washer is a prophet, he is my favorite preacher!

  • paul washer is speaking the truth, and joel osteen does seem to try too much to get a worldly kind of attention, but it isn't my job to judge him as a preacher. i know that it says that teachers will be judged harsher than anyone else, so all i can do is pray for big preachers like joel osteen, but i'm sure paul washer isn't perfect either, so thank God for the grace of Christ.

at the end of the day, Paul Washer isn't my teacher, Joel Osteen isn't, Jesus is my teacher and thank God for that

  • The sound of people preaching like this is too much for me to listen to. The same old running in circles stuff. I don't know... maybe it all has its place... everyone's on a journey. I don't think I'm in any better or worse place in my journey.

This is why I can't listen to this: What is the agenda? love? no.

The Jesus of the bible you read taught that you need to love people and love God.. love yourself. That people would be drawn to God when they saw the love his people had for each other.

  • First off, I did watch this...but relating to the title. Christians are supposed to die to self and esteem Christ. Self-esteem stemmed from new age theology I believe (not positive).
