@snickledoosh he was dreaming, in a lucid dream, in suspended animation while his body is frozen, "i'm frozen and you're dead".. he killed his girlfriend because he was mentally unstable and fucked up from both an operation on his face (affected his brain as well as the suicide/attempted murderer involving his ex) so he chose to go on living with the pain as opposed to a fake perfect reality of his choosing... go watch the movie now!! can't believe i answered that haha

It is the American version of the film Abre tus ojos. The spanish version is...amazing ♥

The best thing about this movie was the music. I first discovered Sigur Ros because of this.

An emotional, achingly sad and breathtaking ending. A great , though underrated film. Some will sneer, but I rate Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz as actors.

Anyone know around what time they filmed this? I know it was in 2001...feel like they should of edited out the World Trade Center. Still a great movie though.

@Drugernautt i read about the movie and it said that they couldnt get the studio version in time for the debut or something so they had to use the live version from a concert or something, i did notice it was slightly different aswell=/ But its still a beautiful song.
