This is a 2:00 excerpt from an extensive interview with a Mississippi Delta cotton farmer conducted at his rural home by First Person Video's Celeste Ford. The project was for institutional and family purposes. The end product was a moving account of his life growing up on a modest farm during the Great Depression, his harrowing WWII experiences on the Western Front under General Patton, and his life's work as a highly successful farmer with a deep respect for the "sacred soil" of the Delta.
