thanks. i pretty much carved the shoe free hand. if you use the styrofoam that's for flowers- called floral foam, it's easier to shape since rubbing your hands on the foam will take some off, so it follows the form you want to make it into

hi,just wanna ask where dou you buy cheap decorating tools?i just started making cakes and im not too good in decorating coz i dont have the right tools:(

Hi. let nothing stop you from trying this out, esp not the tools. you can always be creative and find other ways to get the look you want. AND there's ebay! many people sell a 'lot' of decorating tools there. the basic tools are most probably in your kitchen... a rolling pin, pizza cutter ... powdered sugar... spatula. with just that and a few cookie cutters, you can already make a beautiful cake .

They were MASSIVE werent thet? haha... i really wanted something that would look a little bit realistic for the ten year old girl and not put baby shoes in there and not make her think it's "cool". :)
