• "the defining moment contest" •

» idea: the main idea is to enter a video that you feel has made you into the vidder you are now. the turning point. the video that everyone remembers. the video that changed you in a way.

» the rules are simple:
• enter only one video. post entry as a video response.
• any fandom, any song, any length.
• it should be an old video.. unless you feel as a vidder you haven't had a "defining moment" yet. Then you CAN enter a new vid although they are hard to "create". So i would suggest going with an old vid.
*•* write a passage in the description of your entered video.. EXPLAINING why you chose that vid..
(example: I chose this video to enter into "The Defining Moment Contest" because to me it's a defining moment in my vidding life, the moment at .. just really hit me. i can relate because.... I think that the scene at .... just fell into place, to me its special... I can feel inside me this moment... ) blahblah lol. thats just an example. Just Be Creative, Honest & Yourself:]

keep in mind that this shouldn't be based on your fave video, or your most popular video. it should be a video that started a change in your vidding life.

* I'm looking for epic videos. you should be proud of your video. I won't be judging the video per say AS MUCH as I will your interpretation of how it's your defining moment. I want to understand why. make me see/feel something that you might not have if you just watched the video.

I chose my BtVS video specifically because it tested my patience as a vidder. It took me literally three months to finish and then, my computer crashed and it wouldn't save as a whole, I had to save it in three parts and put them together, and then I still missed a voiceover...lol. But all in all, I feel it's my "defining moment" because I felt like I put all of the love I had for this show into this video and think it shines through.

@liveasong PART 2 - And I'm happy to say that we won that prestigious award for Carrie and she became the first female artist to earn that title twice. That video is really special to me because it is my very first production and it has been seen by Carrie Underwood herself and has been published on several websites :) ! It encouraged me to developp my abilities on video editing and most importantly, made me very proud of what I've done. Thank You and please consider my video for your contest :P

PART 1 - Hey Jessie! First of all, what an amazing contest you've launched =D ! I'm happy to enter my 'Carrie Underwood For Your 2010 ACM Consideration' video that I've made a few months ago for Carrie's nomination for 'Entertainer Of The Year' at the ACMs Awards. The whole point of that video was to showcase Carrie Underwood's talent and success to drag a maximum of people to vote for her.
