In latest itunes version only audio books tab is displayed.I cant transfer .pdf files to my iphone and i doubt that sync book option is not checked.How can I check it?

...Just open itunes and goto App syncselection and scroll down then look for the iBook or other pdf supported app and drag&drop.

thanks helped out a lot.. but how do u copy an entire folder of pdf files?? i have a lot of pdf files and there all in a folder. can i drag the folder in there ? i tried to drag and it didnt work. can u help please.

Open the folder with your pdf files and "Select All" from the Edit menu or use keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl + A. With all files selected drag them over

I dont Have the folder Books in the library in itunes how can i get it?!!!

Download and install the latest version of iTunes. The Books folder will be the 5th icon down in the left side pan.

I can suggest a few things to try. Before you check to "sync books", just do a normal backup to iTunes. You can do this simply by connecting your iPhone.
By doing this it should backup those books currently on your phone even though "sync books" isn't checked. After backup, click the books tab and see if they are in there. Let me know what happens.
