Goals

Goals is an ongoing series that will follow the very diverse lives of young South African football players as they aim for a place in the 2010 World Cup Bafana Bafana squad.

As we follow them chasing their goals we will also be allowed an intriguing insight into the varied lives of South African society.


Our youngsters represent a microcosm of South African life. From the harsh but vibrant streets of the townships to the tree-lined avenues of the more affluent suburbs.We go into their homes, follow their lives, meet their friends, chat to team mates and family and get a feel for what they have to go through to get to the top.
