I was a fireman on one of these,i was at
Frodingham-36c-and it was depoted at Mexborough or Wath in late 50s-early 60s

Just goes to show how unsettled and underveloped we were. This was when brisbane was still a country town and rockhampton was even smaller!

I honestly don't know. I obtained this video from someone in QR some twelve years ago now when the restored 1009 was being returned to traffic.

Maybe one of the historical mobs down in NSW might know.
