Vatersay Boys - Braigh loch iall / canan na gaidheall / Mist Covered Mountains

A version of the "Braigh loch iall/ canan na gaidheall/Mist Covered Mountains" by the Vatersay Boys.

It'sthe first track from their CD "An Rathad a Bhatarsaigh", a fine collection of music.

I heard this on a visit to Scotland and found it really moving stuff, I have fond memories of driving around Loch Ness, across the Higlands and across to the Black Isle (in mist) listeneing to this in car.

I have added pictures of Scotland to the music, I hope you enjoy both. The over use of fade in/out is to give the feeling of movment of the wind/tide/rain etc.

I do not own all the photo's and music, I have no connection with the Vatersay Boys either. The beauty of youtube is to let others know about music you may not have ever heard but allow it to become a firm friend.

@sc1rilo2e I have amended the title for you, as the first track on the CD includes three titles I did think "Mist Covered Mountatins" would be more fruitfull in any search results, but you live and learn :-)

@irland1961 I envy you for that, living so far south I doubt I will ever be lucky enough to see them perform. I do intened to revist Scotland soon though. You cannot beat live music, the feeling of the sound waves on your chest, this must be one greta band to see live, get the feet tappin!
