  • Great, now I have to go buy a $400 sewing machine.

  • @uxcitme i use a 20$ singer spartan i got from a thrift store and 200-300$ white machine. The spartan gets used more.

  • hey BOB nice vid.. have you ever made custom pouches from ballistic or Cordura nylon? Can your average machine sew this heavy material? a video of how to make a nylon case for a AK folder that can be attached to your pack would be great..

  • yeah a "normal" machine will do cordora. But only so many layers thick. With edging tape, etc. Im able to get about 3 to 4 layers of 1000d thats it.

  • Great video thank. On Sportsmans Guide I searched "strap" and found them, out of stock til Feb 15, 2010. On the same search result, Single Point Sling was $30.

  • they were in stock as of when i made this movie.

  • Great little econo-sling! Thanks for an informative video. I just sub'd to your channel.

  • Great vid :D

  • Great idea you just saved me a ton

  • great vid... and you can still find these straps on sportsmans guide, it just takes some searching through catigories. Also walmart does have similar straps. they are just black. I picked up these for 1.88 and make one for me. works great. About the sewing, I personally am not a fan so i simply used super glue and then sewed by hand quickly. It has held up so far and does not seem like it is coming apart any time soon.
