RuneScape - F2p Max Hit

A short video showing the max hit in non-members (f2p) at this moment (June 2010). This video was also made IN a NON-MEMBERS world. So any member items he's still wearing do not have any effect on the hits or what so ever.

-------------Getting the maximum hit--------------

In the video he's using the following things to max out:

- 99 strength
- Strength potion
- Ultimate strength (prayer)
- Gravite 2h (Dungeoneering reward)
- Amulet of Strength
- Rune Gauntlets (Fist of Guthix reward)

We didn't manage to get the actual max hit which should be around 365 for f2p. So we're around 10 off.

-------------Other possibilities--------------

Some people might say that Dragon Battleaxe + Rune Berserker shield is better. It isn't as the Gravite 2h gives a 90+ strength bonus and Dragon Battleaxe + Berserker shield gives 89+ (85+4).

The combination of Dragon battleaxe and berserker shield might be more useful in PvP because of it's higher slash bonus. Still Gravite 2h gives a very high crush bonus, has only a 45 attack requirement and is cheaper, but is on the other hand much harder to get (40,000 Dungeoneering tokens). Both weapons have the same attack speed.

- Corrupt Dragon Battleaxe (Revenant equipment)
- Rune Berserker Shield (Fist of Guthix reward)

The maximum hit does not increase with the Amulet of Zealots. This amulet increases the percentage of a prayer by 5% (meaning that ultimate strength will add 20% to your hit while wearing the amulet). Wearing the Amulet of Zealots, which does not give any strength bonus, however, means that you cannot wear the amulet of strength. You miss so much strength bonus (-10) by changing amulets, your maximum hit does not increase, not even at level 99 strength.

@WeAllPlayRunescape -,- first of all it's not me that's doing it, was just a guy I met in the duel arena. Second of all, if I wanted to hit higher we would've chosen for better strength gear. Only things that increase the max hit at this point (if we were in members) would be dragon boots (or possibly berserker ring ((i))) ... I haven't been members for over 2 years so I can't really be in a member world... Just learn to read the description and don't be the 100th idiot to comment the same thing

@n01h3rE What I meant when I said it'll be harder to hit someone with 99 def means that the chance of you maxing on them is lower, in other words it'll take a lot more hits to hit higher on them probability-wise.

@moreepty1 the highest non-member hit is 364, for that you will need 99 str, str potion and super strengt pray, gravite 2h sword, rune gauntlets and amulet of strengt

It's hard to believe for 2011 this is max. I think there might be a possibility of 990 hit of f2p considering if you are a pure with these stats: 99 str, 76 attk, 99 mage, and 99 rnge with 99 hp and 99 pray. Boost up str with pray, get some arm, and str pot and.......
