i need some help...i downloaded camtasia studio but when i record its laggy as hell...is there a recorder with no studio cos i got vegas :-/ please help

Its not the studio that makes it laggy. It is probably the size you are recording at, most computers dont do great full screen. I'm not saying you did do full screen, but what size did you record at?

i go in game then press record (my hotkey) than mouse cursor apears and i must choose size now im on desktop i choosed size than i go back in game and than i pres recording (my hotkey).....my question is how to skip this window size chosing and just record that i curently see on my screen......when i open fraps he is redy to record anything on my screen during on destop or in game.....but with this camtasia i must constantly chose recording size,when im in game or on desktop how to skip that?

You might not be able to do that unless you do autopan, but you don't want that for a game. It always goes into the window selection before recording. I think you should just use fraps. By the way, I got a video coming out soon using fraps. Dodgeball in Counter Strike Source =)

well im using hypercam2 now, and im so happy its even better than fraps and much much better than camtasia

If it works for you than great, but just for an FYI, it will do much better than camtasia. Camtasia is more of a screen recorder, not a game recorder. If you want that get gamecam or fraps.

@debiejeff1ftw Click up camtasia recorder then you click tools then options now you see program, click on it then at "workflow" it says [x] show countdown before recording click on it, Np

when i start to record it starts counting from 3 to 1 to start.
