I'm sorry but I detest t he word whore. It says a great deal more about the person who uses it then about the subject of the slur. Prostitutes wouldn't exist if men weren't interested in the sex; yet men don't get slurred. Many men who frequent prostitutes are married...what does that say about their morality? A women is entitled to dress as she pleases without stressing whether some sexist, misogynistic dinosaur will spread ill founded rumors about their behavior.

Perhaps you're missing the point of the criticisms? Admittedly, I don't think the criticisms make the issue clear: The video is incongruous with the song. Indeed, one of the women is Amanda Marchant but that doesn't make video content meaningful to the song. That's the issue. I checked the internet and there're dozens of images of Amanda M. that could have been montaged to correspond with the meaning of the song. Thanks for posting the song: It's possible to listen and not watch the video.

Love the song & Don Williams!
well like usual the video does have nothing to do with the song. it is just somebodies stupid idea of freaking out.

@rosemarie443 Well the main subject of the video was a young woman called Amanda. Also this was a proof of concept piece when I was trialling web based software to create a "mash up"

Why would you mash up a beautiful song with a girl acting like a dumb cluck. Are you trying to make her look more pathetic than she already is? I'm sorry but there's something nasty about ridiculing someone
redtony58 1 year ago
@redtony58 I did not think I was ridiculing her, I have quite a lot of respect for this pair given how they told Playboy where to stick their money. Plus during the particular Big Brother she was one, she and her sister did not receive a single nomination. I was simply taking what clips I could grab to make this at the time. I was actually testing a facility at the time to grab other video clips.
This was a proof of concept piece

The girls are too flamboyant for this song.... -they dress like whores- all they need is a pole and their in bussiness! They don't deserve a gentleman for a husband!

@jwdundon Actually they were more moral than people gave them credit for, especially after telling Playboy where to shove their money.
