If we carry on the way we are now, humans will commit genocide. The way we are going now with these wars and global warming there will be NO future for us, we are such a primitive and aggressive race, many don't see the bigger picture of life. The point is, in my opinion, humans will be extinct in the next 500-1000 years. There will be many causes of this such as Nuclear wars or Global warming....if we managed to use our brains we could spread into the galaxy, instead we waste energy on weapons.

Btw, how do you see a world without nuclear weapons? Even if all weapons now in existance could be destroyed without completely removing the balance of power, the knowledge and probably production capability would still remain. Any country can restart a nuclear program when it needs extra political weight or in a crisis.

Everyone keeps claiming nuclear weapons can and will eredicate the human species, or even all life on earth. That is extremely unlikely, as a nuclear exchange would probably happen in only a part of the world, and even there would still be survivors.
Ofcours, society would be completely devastated, world population dwindled to Medieval numbers, especcially if Nuclear Winter kicks in, but apart from changes mankind and most other species would still survive, and eventually recover.

Thank you for posting your videos and this video in particular. Humanity must search for common ground to recognize that we are better off without nuclear weapons. What is needed is dialogue and diplomacy to resolve conflicts. As this video illustrates, It is truly insane to think nuclear weapons will protect us. The U.S. must take the lead in honoring the NPT and the CTBT. We must educate youth about these pressing issues and prevent further militarization of space.
