It's not the MLS holdinghim back it's himself. He wants to stay with the Revs because he likes it here. He is better than parkhurt and parkhurst is going to europe for the 09 season to a dutch league. It is his choice in if he wants to go or not. We will find out his plans after his contract is up. I personally am a Revs fan but I would love to see him play in a high class league.
Twellman is too old for most big club teams to be looking at him. Not to mention he's got a huge neck injury...so more than likely he'll be finishing up his career soon.
and its a shame that MLS is such a sucky league =( cuz you have a lot of talents. You really have to get rid of the draft system and the wage roof. It will just make the leagues progress a LOT slower
I think that Taylor Twellman might become something, not English Premier Leagueclass.. But maybe in the german league or something like that in a few years=)
