This is incorrect because unlike other messages, the EAN is not the alert itself, but rather a notice that the activation is beginning. After the End of Message (EOM) tones are sent, normal programming does not resume. Instead, most stations will broadcast emergency information in a specific priority order. Messages from the President are always broadcast first. Then would follow Statewide/regional messages followed by more localized messages with specific instructions.

How did you make your EAS videos

@IamPatriot94 Mmm, possibly. Tampa and Jacksonville would get hit hard, they have significant military bases and operations in those areas. Miami has Homestead AFB, that's about it as far as I'm aware so maybe not. In a full nclear exchnge, the Rssns would not just fire off a precious warhead to destroy a city; they would fire as many warheads as necessary in a first wave at all critical targets (Command and Control, missile silos, military bases, communications facilities, early warning radars)

@Clochfear That's not necessarily true. It really depends on the size and type of the nuclear weapon, the topography of the area, whether its an airburst or ground detonated weapon, what manner of layers you have between yourself and the detonation... nuclear weapons are not all-powerful, destructive as they are.
If a 20kt bomb was ground detonated in the centre of Miami, you would be fine 50 miles away. If an 18 megaton warhead was airbursted 5000 feet above the same point, you would die.

@IamPatriot94 the tsar's flash could reach a 600 mile radius
Ironically, those cities mentioned all vote against missile defence. So they what they wanted: no defence against incoming attack.
