"I can talk, can you fly?"; Amazing talking Mynah "Kaleo"

"Kaleo" is a common mynah bird I rescued off the ground when he was about 3 days old. Now, over a year later, listen to him talk!

My grandfather was a pilot. He used to have an Amazon Parrot who would say this. "I can talk, can you fly?" My grandfather, being a pilot would say, "Well, yeah! I CAN fly!" To which the bird would reply, "Oh, a wise guy! Eh!?"

Birds can't differentiate which part of the human noise is most important to copy. They even repeat a person swallowing or breathing so you would know it was an old timer who taught it to talk. I used to play a record for a parakeet that said, "pretty boy" over and over again. The dumb bird learned to say "pretty boy" but not without the scratches and static on the record which kinda creeped me out.
