ok the hypothesis of us being a binary system is interesting but there still needs to be far more reaserch on it. i know i'm nitpicking but theres a distinct difference between comets and the meteors that strike the earth. No object from the oort cloud has hit the earth in billions of years. a comet from the oort cloud would all but anhilate the planet (example shoemaker-levi hitting jupiter...the comet broke appart and 1 segment alone left scars in the atmosphere the size of the earth!)

When speaking about the end of days,Christ foretold of "great signs in the sky." The Book of Revelation tells of at least one asteroid striking the planet as well.

Today I was discussing with a friend of mine, the noticable amount of surprise comets and asteroids, either narrowly missing or 'safely' hidding earth. I've read about 6 or 7 reports of close-call asteroid and comet cases in the last 30 days. That's like.. pretty much...

The REAL experts are the ones you never see given air-time because their views don't conform with the prevailing, but deeply flawed, scientific paradigm. Ignorance endangers, knowledge protects. Get educated.

Anyways, the reason that we are seeing more is because there are more of us looking. Risks, chances, percentages, frequency are not all the same thing.

We see more because there are more of us looking with better equipment than ever and we have more way of communicating this information. world govs are looking out for anything that will take out an area bigger than India...but not smaller, it would cost too much...
