that's an awesome video.. I find it really sad that there's such a small window for them to get adopted. I am glad that in Seattle they have the resources and funding to make sure than any adoptable dog (passes behavioral tests and isn't beyond medical care) stays as long as needed to find a home. I think this should be the goal that we strive for in shelters.. they also make great use of a large foster care network so they don't have to be stuck in the shelter environment.

@SkinnyWmn69 Sounds like a human problem too me. People are the root of all evil and thats the bottom line. If you dont like the breed move somewhere they are banned dipshit, see if that helps your punk ass.

I don't live in an area where there is BSL. However, I can tell you that I also have a toddler and my APBT is the best dog I have had and he is great with kids. Do some more research. You obviously came upon this video for a reason and didn't just stumble upon it. The APBT's are from the Staffordshire Bull Terrier in England. They are the number 5 owned dog in the UK and are commonly referred to as "Nanny Dog" for how good they are with kids. I understand from your uneducated poin

Being a father of 2 little girls I can appreciate a ban on these dogs. If it means SO much to you to HAVE that particular breed of dog..go somewhere else and have that dog. If you love dogs, just get a more acceptable breed, seems simple to me. I don't mind my neighbors having cats but I wouldn't feel safe if they had a tiger. The aggressive behavior poses too big a threat. Disagree all you want, TOO MANY BAD OWNERS to allow the breed in my opinion.

@guest6666 Pits r NOT 4 everyone! They r hi strung energetic dogs that need lots of devotion! They take up mor time than othr breeds they bond closer & need alpha owners. These dogs crave attention they need exercise & love & r miserable when left alone. Thats what they meant by not 4 everyone. They r NOT dangerous, u just misunderstood the site. They recommened a hi fence bcuz they r excellent climbers, mine can jump an 8 ft fence & I know of many pits that can climb trees. Ur just ignorant.
Hi jadorn, I added your video to my myspace page. I think it's one of the best pit bull pieces I've seen. Classy, informative about all the right stuff and most importantly, positive. Very well done. Keep spreading the word. Love, a pit bull mom in Los Angeles
