The new ASUS UL30A-A2 Notebook PC is a harmonious blend of form and function. Powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3GHz processor, it boasts an impressive 10-hours battery life for all-day computing, user-centric features such as multi-gesture touchpad and impressive multimedia entertainment with Altec Lansing and SRS Premium Sound. Plus, it also comes with 4GB of DDR3 memory, 500GB HDD and a 13.3" display. These features can be found in an ultra-light notebook that is generously cloaked in brushed aluminum and measures less than 1-inch in profile.

  • I have this computer. It is the best notebook on the market right now, and I bought it a year ago. Still has ridiculous battery life, and is super fast. Also very slim.

  • Is there a difference between the Asus UL30A-X5K and the Asus UL30A-A2, other than the colour??

  • @acer0169 So? That's actually smart. It's called "being organized".

  • Very good review. Thanks.

  • @dsturbovq no

  • Does it have a back lit keyboard

  • @alanheath Is this good for Adobe Premier Pro tho?

  • Is this a good option for video editing?? No problem?

  • @exenter2 I think it depends on what you mean by video editing. I do my you tube stuff using windows movie maker currently on a 1GB RAM machine. However it will not take HD. I hope the Acer will.

  • Extremely useful presentation. I did not understand how the Linux system worked - now I do thanks to you and this seems like a very big plus - great for those of us who use our computers for phone calls!!

I would very much like to have a computer I can sit outside with. Has anyone tried? Can one see anything on the screen when the sun is out?
