  • That thing looks smooth. Beauty flight. 1.2 for the 3gx had the official release today....aint no vbar, but Ill be happy if it performs half as smooth as this.

    Cheers

  • @Captan6pack Thanks for letting me know! I'll have to hear back from you on its performance - as I'm away at work until Christmas and won't be able to install it :(. Cheers

  • @cruddbucket Just put two packs thru it. Cyclics are way more smooth. 1.2 seems to take the "nervousness" out of my 450. Deff feels more crisp and connected tail wise. Great improvment over the 1.1

You bring and of your birds with you when you take off to work to fly in your downtime..??

    Tom

  • @Captan6pack Awesome man good to hear, what about the pirouetting consistency, does it seem to pirouette off axis/wobble?

Yup I have brought with me the mini protos :D you might see a video of me flying off the side of the ship when we are steaming soon haha

    Peace

  • @cruddbucket Matter a fact I did notice a wobble on pirouettes that wasn't evident in the 1.1 firmware. I didn't have my laptop with me so I couldn't try to get rid of it. It wasn't huge....but it was noticable Probably just a rudder premeter that needs to be tweaked. How bad was your piro wobble?

I used Luke Leons 450 sport settings off HF.

Mini Protos is an awesome size to bring with you to stay sharp on the sticks.

    Cheers dude!

  • @Captan6pack Ah ok, interesting.. mine was quite bad, so much so I really had to correct it lots to keep it from drifting..made pirouetting flips a real handful compared to the Vbar setups on my other helis anyway. It might be more susceptible to slightly off CG.. Mine was set to tip slightly at the nose.. it is possible it needs to be dead on underneath the main shaft for best results... something to test out.

    Cheers and happy landings :)
