A robot is caged in a cell, with no contact with the outside world, until a beautiful butterfly perches on the window's bar. Made as a final project for animation studies.

  • I love the meaning behind this. We live in a world along with other beings( which we suppose they are like us like the robot supposes that in the other cages there others like her) where we are imprisoned by evil around us and when something out of our world (butterfly/ robot world) chooses us to come we just embrace it for a little bit and then we just throw this gift away. She is not a typical woman , she is a typical human

  • so thats why the robot was caged

  • @musicResistances plus the animation is great.

  • I saw this robot in a (digital tutors) dvd, !! is that right guys?? in (introduction to maya 2008?

  • O.O

    ...

I...actually...seriously...naivly...didn't expect that...and I jumped when she hit it.

  • I knew it. I was like "Oh look a butterfly. She's going to smash it." Sure enough.... *Headdesk*

  • @musicResistances I feel the same way

  • I for one think the robot was jealous that the butterfly could fly wherever and the robot was trapped in that little ball

  • That butterfly survived being squished by a machine? That's one tough bug.
