  • Nah, I think everyone loves that. Most people just change up lyrical melodies because it makes the song more raw. After you sing a really emotional song hundreds of times the exact same way it loses its value. But if you just keep changing it up it can always be special. At least thats what I do with mine I could be wrong though.

  • He has two reasons

    One it annoys him

Two, he thinks a song is never really complete

  • No he changes the lyrics cuz it annoys him that people try to sing along...they pay to hear him sing not to sing along

  • @brighteyes498 i think he does it so people dont sing with him because he "gets distracted" :p

  • haha I was so confused when I got the alert that I had a comment on this video and was like I don't remember watching that recently and saw it was from a year ago haha. But yea mate still totally agree.

  • @brighteyes498 No, dude. You're right on the money. I do the same thing with my songs. I don't change my lyrics really; but, then again I'm not famous, haha. I just change the phrasing, melody, etc. But yeah, thats how you last as an artist; you change up things. If you don't ever change something or update it, it'll die. Specially for songwriters, if you sing it the same way, it'll die, because it'll get too stale. Hence, pop songs and their singers becoming irrelevant and boring.

  • SOOOOOOO

    jealous

    but happy for you!

  • I was so at this show!

  • does anyone have a link to the audio version of this song??i searched but all i found was covers

  • yeah..i think it bugs him. ive been to alot of bright eyes shows...and the ones where he changes shit up are the ones where particularly large amounts of people are singing or its in a smaller venue where he can hear the audience well.
