From what I've heard, back in 2003 or so, Jorn simply didn't want to do it any more, so he left. Macaluso tried to keep the band together, but apparently there were some disagreements and eventually it fell apart.
They reunited last year, with a different vocalist. New album is on the way some time this year (hopefully) - according to the latest news, recording will start in May.

ARK are back, releasing a new album this or next year called "Aradiokaos", vocalist has not been revealed, most likely not Jorn (sadly)... Nonetheless looking forward to it!!!
