@TheRetardFriends I meant in biblical days. So it could be another few thousand years before I get to it! Just kidding. Been working on other stuff...

You need to use a Cross instead of a Tee for the center gimbal piece. The cross balances the forces from the handle movement. Using a Tee the force are slightly above the Center of Gravity.

@sophtware Thanks! You mean the design in this video(2009-July) doesn't work? I think I know the reason - too much friction when idling, too too too too much friction when loading.. am i right? You have a new design, 4th right? Support!

please upload part 2.
I have a three head designs that I have made and tried and so far none of them work. I have a new, fourth design, that I'm sure will work now. I just haven't had any time to make it and post a video. I'm trying to keep this simple so you don't have to have a machine shop to create on, which is the difficulty. Plus the fact 2 pound and less cameras a very difficult to balance. You really need precision adjustments for such light cameras. Stay tuned. I will complete this.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am NOT dead. I've just been spending a lot of time revamping my design. Making a GlideCAM for a light camera is not easy on a budget. The lighter the camera, the harder it is to balance the unit to get quality video from it. And the key to balancing is finding the Center of Gravity (CG) for the camera. Which is difficult to say the least. Once I come up with an inexpensive solution I'll post.

@sophtware Yes, I bought a Glide 2000, and I can't get it balanced for my Canon HV-30!

@TomDCHunk It might have to do with the weight of your new camera. It may be too light.
