@1A1ANONYMOUS1A1 I hope it got thrown out if that was the case.

@AverageJoe121 Well, here in CA its against the law to drink and drive with a BAC of .08 even you arent impaired. But I dont agree with the DUI checkpoint, unconstitutional to me.
-
@1A1NONYMOUS1A1: Just to let you know, they are not random and one of the standards supporting the constitutionality of sobriety checkpoints are the fact they are never allowed to be random. Cops are just trying to do their jobs, but I don't think this is the most effective manner. The interest in public safety outweighs a momentary individual seizure, if you want to get into the 4th Amendment. I suggest you read Michigan Dept of State Police v. Sitz. This has already been dealt with. Idiot.
-
whoever is for DWI checkpoints I hope you get hit head on by a drunk driver. That shit is way against the 4th amendment, it involves stopping people at random without having the probable cause to do so. READ YOUR 4TH AMENDMENT IDIOTS!!!!!! As for me I accept full responsibility for all of my actions, I was stopped for defective headlight one night had 2 beers passed the sobriety test, stood on one leg, walked straight line, EVERYTHING and still got taken in. COPS ARE RETARDS FUCK THEM ALL!!!!

You blame lawyers for being good and getting the best deal for their client? If anything you should be angry at the prosecutors who make deals with people who are "obviously guilty" or the entire system which puts so much pressure on them to reduce the # of cases that go to trail. People need a lawyer representing them because it's not even close to a level playing field.
-
Who ever said that people should not receive a fair trial? Just sickens me to know that there are attorneys out there that defend people that are obviously guilty of a crime. Especially drunk driving which is one of the most selfish crimes out there. That's whats wrong with our society today. No one is willing to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for their actions.
-
Even people accused of horrible crimes deserve the protections guaranteed by that Constitution and that includes due process and the right to counsel. Some people seem to think that people accused of drunk driving are not entitled to a fair trial or that the police should be allowed to mishandle evidence.
-
LOL @ you calling America a police state. Try traveling a bit and you will see a true police state. I'm sure you'd love the UK or Iran. I stand by my comment. Drunk drivers are scum.
-
@chechnya ... Are you suggesting that the police should not be required to follow established rules of evidence and respect the Constitutional rights of the accused? OF COURSE attorneys look for reasons to get their clients off that's their job. The alternative would be living in a police state where you're guilty until proven innocent. Is that preferable?
-
driving drunk is fucked up but ppl need to pay more attention to their surrondings and quit blaming everything on drunk drivers theres plenty of sober drivers that kill ppl too so start blaming stupidity
Nice to see all the losers trying to justify drinking and driving. Everyone is upset because they've been pulled over for it. Let one of your family members get killed and see who's whining then. Ooh.."the generator was very, very loud". "I bet the pigs rigged it to be extra loud so I couldn't hear"...freakin babies

No one is trying to justify drinking & driving, besides it's not against the law to drink and drive it's against the law to drink & drive impaired. Of course only an educated person would know that...

You need to get your facts straight Steven Daniels. Looks like that Sgt had a Sheriff's Office uniform on. The guy giving the instructions in your video is a Florida Highway Patrolman. Too bad you're not a "professional" consultant and had your facts straight before running your mouth.

You are an idiot. Please re-read the info:
Hernando County Sheriff's Office Checkpoint. FHP giving guy suspected of DUI the HGN Test and Field Sobriety Test while another guys sits in the BAT Mobile waiting to take the breath test on the Intoxilyzer 8000. Sgt. Matt Lillibridge gets mad at DUI undo Consultants for videotaping his officers giving FST instructions.
Where did I misstate the facts?

And before the idiot opens his mouth to the following; "Sgt. Matt Lillibridge gets mad at DUI undo Consultants for videotaping his officers giving FST instructions"
Sgt. Lillibridge was in charge of the DUI checkpoint, so the reference to "his officers" was used in regards to the "officers" under his command that night.
