CGR Undertow - DANTE'S INFERNO for PlayStation 3 Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video game review of Dante's Inferno from EA for the PS3 from February 2010. Dante's Inferno, the first part of the trilogy that is The Divine Comedy, sees the main character, Dante, having to face all his sins from his life as a Crusader as he makes his way through all nine layers of Hell on his way to redemption. In this EA version of the classic poem, Dante is not only looking to redeem himself, but to also save his true love and ideal woman, Beatrice. This video game review features Dante's Inferno gameplay footage and commentary from CGR Undertow reviewer Ray.

lol, dudes....youve gotta understand. if the GOW team made such an incredible gameplay mechanic, why shouldn't other developers use it to tell their stories? I mean, what's the problem with that? It's not like Duke Nukem isn't a DOOM ripoff or CoD isn't a Moh ripoff...

It's not a clone! It just has the same kind of gameplay. It's just a hack and slash. Not a god of war clone.

@theredeemedshow totally agree with the clone comparison. You could almost say that God of War is a mixture between Devil May Cry style and hack'n'slash that Hunters: The Reckoning (Xbox game). God of War is a great game, but its no where near a pioneer for future games. That being said, this game being over the first part of the Divine Comedy was pretty fun to play.

you can say god of war is a clone from devil may cry,there,sry but it's kinda sad that SO money games are compared to it,sigh,i know some have much in common,but hey you can't make dantes inferno an fps,right,right!?
