River Phoenix: the catcher in the rye

Most of the scenes in this video are from My Own Private Idaho. I tried to view River and people he loved from different percpective. Meaning that I tried to make parallel between Holden and River. all quotations in this video are from the J.D. Salinger's The catcher in the Rye. i guess Holden and River had something in common.

Only the good dies young. River Phoenix is for sure the most ideal actor for Holden. The video is beautiful.

@KimamaLuyuLiluye Oh really.I love My Own Private Idaho so much.I have the movie but it doesn't have special features and deleted scenes on the disk:(....I love quoting that movie..."Bob Pigeon will sweat to death!!HAHAHAHA!!!"

The movie makes me sad though.I feel so bad for River Phoenix's character Mike.

True .... even I felt the same. River and holden really had a lot in common... River should have played the role of Holden Caulfield if a movie had been made based on the Catcher in the rye before 1993....

i think the film world would be in a total different state if he had of lived and maybe just maybe jd would have made this into a film if it starred river, people who compare actors like rob pattinson to river sicken me. The only actor i can think of who is comparable is heath and it's not because they both died of drugs they just seemed similar both too good for hollywood's bullshit.
