This is a never before seen video of Sandra Bullock when she was in several drama productions at Washington Lee High School in Arlington Virginia. In November, 1981, W-L Drama department presented the Woody Allen Play titled "Don't Drink the Water". This is a dress rehearsal with Sandra Bullock playing the part of the Countess Bourdini along with her fellow students Scott Sowers and Kim Tancredi playing Walter and Marion Hollander. In this rehearsal, Scott drops his gun out of his shirt prematurely. The sound of the gun dropping early causes Sandra to laugh and go out of character. You can hear the W-L Drama teacher, Mrs. Filipi yelling "Don't Break, Don't Break!" and Sandra gets the giggles but recovers. This video was taped by Binky Bloch who owns the original tape and is under copyright by him and may not be used by anyone for any purpose. All rights reserved.

  • i'm confused, isn't she reciting the lines of Kasnar? is the guy count bordini?

  • yes you are correct. Sandra says who she is as well as the actor standing to her left.

  • Mrs. Fillipy anyone? lol. Sandy if you ever read this, i had her some years later. Was always curious what she was like when you had her. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I heard her yelling "Don't Break, Don't Break!" in the background. That voice is as clear now as it was 20 years ago for me LOL ;)

    All the best Sandy!

  • she's sooo pretty and cute. . . I LOV HER

  • @honeebun You know the best part is, I bet they will all remember most of all that hysterical moment more than they will how their performance may have gone that evening or that rehearsal. Those moments are the moments I live for in theater. The ones that leave tears in our eyes!

  • omg believe me i feel her pain when she cracks up in the middle of a scene when something like that (the thing dropping) happens on stage everyone gets the giggles and it's so hard to control laughing. just like my theater director hers was yelling "DON'T BREAK!!!" hahaha i guess this was a rehearsal? no one wouldve been yelling in a live performance

  • sandyyyyyy!!!! oh my goooooood ! u're sooooo cute! my dream is to see u in person. (alsoo, i want to play with u in one film, i do want to be an actress (like u))
