A song about a woman I once knew.
Who is This Woman
Music & Lyrics by Howard Rosenzweig
She fumbled with her lighter
And got no flame
So I lit her cigarette,
Told her my name
After we talked,
And had some drinks
I brought her home
Started to think
Who is this woman
Lonely and sad
Who wouldn't let
Me inside
She said she's a doctor
Kissed me goodnight
Her desire she tried
To hide
The next night I made her
And satisfied her too
But not before she told me
Told me what was true
Her mother used to beat her
Then told the doctor that she fell
Now she's a Call Girl
Under cocaine's spell
Who is this woman
Lonely and sad, who to a
Stranger let her feelings
Be known,
Never to be happy,
Haunted by her dreams
Searching but never finding
Her sanity!
and...Who Is This Woman ?!!

@MRROBBIEWATTS Sadly, this is a true story of a woman who was abused as a child by her mother [as was "Sybil", the woman who suffered from multiple personalities], and became a Call Girl later in life. I only knew her for a short time, but her sad story moved me to write this.
