what? ed edd n eddy is one of the best and funniest cartoons ever made. Gross things? I don"t think so. They do stupid things which are funny and entertaining.

We have returned to the days where cartoons are for kids. And they no longer include the parental bonus they use to. Hell thats where most of my laughs come from. You never realize how stuff is till alot latter

Just re-watch the english dub online, its there, or better yet watch the original japanese version :D

I do agree with you, but some more recent shows are pretty good too

Chowder was epic, fosters home for imaginary friends was one of the most original shows I've ever seen, And CN made a show called "Regular Show" which is a lot like old shows

And besides, not ALL old shows are great :( Its just nostalgia that makes them good. ((Like I'm probably the only kid growing up who didn't like disney all that much...))

Besides, to animators, its all about money now. Which makes shows terrible :\

I want classic Hanna-Barbera and classic Looney Tunes back on TV right away. Forget Family Guy, Simpsons, American Dad and other stupid whale fat of shows that doesn't make my day.

The reason why they don't make best cartoon anymore is because they care about money and ignore the fans.

No they shouldn't bring back shows becuase if they did that they wouldn't be moving forward, for progress to be made you have to try new ideas even if they're shitty ideas. Making cartoons is a trial and error process and if they did bring back old cartoons new animators wouldn't have jobs, think about the bigger picture for once people.

There are a couple of exceptions like Star Wars Clone Wars, Young Justice, Batman the Brave and the Bold and the new Thundercats cartoon but sadly you are right modern cartoons have been so dumbed down that is just insulting. It seems like the only forms of entertainment that aren't going down the toilet are video games and comic books. There is no reason why Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon cannot bring back their old shows and have new original shows that are just as good as the old ones.
