GH - Luke and Laura - 1979-1980 playlist p.128

Part 128 of L&L 79-80 playlist. 1980. Had this one done and ready last week. So I am just uploading. Like the last comment. Have things to do tonight before I can post more. Luke talks with Bobbi about the way Jennifer "is". Freaking about the "shot gun marriage". More Laura and Scott at the beach.. we might add"... and she ran to france when she found out the love of her life was married to and "had feelings for" Tracy Quartermain... UGH!!! ... and Jennifer is so right about the only person who ever came close to owning him! Text comments always GREATLY appreciated. I love to discuss the story. Makes all the sharing worth it for me. Please I understand everyone's frustration... but there are plenty of other message boards to vent on. Please do not say anything negative about a real human being. (Say what you will about characters.) I will delete any comment that is mean spirited, regardless of who they are about. Hope you understand. Please pardon any problems with video quality. Original source is old VHS. @sonyab1974 Kind of jumped ahead 30 years! LOL It's just always been laura's nature to run when she can't deal with the hard stuff.

Yes jennifer no one but LAURA owns luke. In '08 luke asked laura if she needed him to go to france with her. If she had said yes he would have left tracy behind in a heartbeat. It will ALWAYS be laura for luke & tracy knows it.

Bobbie's a bit nozy, she needs to mind her own business. And I hate how she jumps back and forth between liking and hating Laura. Bobbie was a bit hard to read back then.

I was watching some of you compilation videos, Suz and Gosh what a different outlook on them now. All the stuff they went through. Can't wait to get to all the jucier stuff. The scenery at the beach is really bad.

Also look how heavily Luke has been drinking in the recent episodes. This episode has him pouring straight booze at around 8 AM (right after exercise class)! I think as the son of an alchoholic, he turns to booze as the first solution, even back in the beginning. It was really his addiction to Laura that probably kept him from alchoholism until recently! They both have very addictive personalities...

Laura's whole life is all about running away from herself and from real truth. When she has nowhere to run externally, she runs away inside her head! Though in the 2008 story line we're left not knowing for sure whether she knows Scotty's with her on the plane to France, unfortunately I suspect she does, and if she does, then 30 years later she hadn't really changed at all.
