I would love to watch more of your videos. I think you are a great teacher.

Thanks a lot for the video! I'm making a little chair and seeing what you do is inspiring. Could you possibly tell me (or us) where is the best place to purchase foam, webbing, burlap, and even coils?

Please do not feel like a fool! You make it look easy and out of the hundreds of videos that I have watched I understand this one the most. Thank you!

This is very helpful. My mom used to upholster and I was too young and stupid to pay attention. This video is informative and to the point.
Thanks for your work.

@caseyb27 Thank you. I've doing Upholstery for 40 years. When I do the videos I try to put myself in the shoes of someone that knows very little about Upholstery. It's hard to think of all the question a person might have.
Thanks
Craig

Hi, I'm just finishing a project to refurb a recliner chair. Just the arms sections to cover now. I'd be grateful if you could advise on this step. Do I need any material between the foam padding on the arms and the outer fabric (I am using Dralon)?
The chair originally had a dense layer of foam over the arm section (which is intact) with a thinner layer of foam over it (which is disintegrating in parts) and then the Dralon.
Any advice gratefully received.

Use a layer of dacron or cotton between the foam and fabric. The bad foam should be replaced

This is a great video. Too many presenters are concerned mainly with how they look and sound, and they end up with uninformative videos. You have a clear style of explanation.

@RoundhouseLion Thanks I try not to be in the video. I don't think people want to see me, just what I have to say.
